PERSONAL
I love to visit the beach with my husband Mike and our children Megan (26), Luke (14), and Savvy (11). Most of my "off months" in the summer are filled with reading, swimming, walks around our neighborhood, and playing volleyball every chance I get. My favorite color is yellow (which is evidenced by the walls of my classroom!) and I love to laugh! I'm not big on chocolate, but I do love decaf frou-frou coffee drinks and fruit-based desserts. I think the octopus is the most fascinating animal and I love the shape of dragonflies. This year starts my 23rd year of teaching and aside from my student-teaching semester at Woodlawn High School in Baton Rouge, LA, I've been fortunate to spend my entire career at LCHS!
